( Which one? )
I am being such a grouch to the kids! Brian is gone on a business trip, I have been on jury duty plus having to plan lesson for my sub. I know it's my pregnancy hormones, but I am feeling the a terrible mom!!!

Maggie is almost 19 months and she's a little drama queen. She can sure play it up when her brother is doing something she doesn't want him to do. She loves playing with cars and trains, but has fallen in love with her baby stella and has only started getting interested in her cooking stuff. She pushes the limits and will do things to get your attention. When you tell her no she'll do them again and smile at you! She has become obsessed with her pj's and doesn't want to be change out of them in the morning. This morning it was about a fifteen minute tantrum to get her changed. She's putting a lot of words together. She says Nate (her cousin) home. Nate bye bye. Mama's shoes, Mama's eyes. me eat. Other words. Shoes, hat, hot, milk, belly button (it comes out like elly bootun), car, outside (oowtside) night night, baby, pee pee, book, hi, shirt, pants (ants) no, eat, papa, daddy (dadddee), grandma (gama) and I am blanking on more. Her new favorite word is bite. Every time I take a bite of dinner she'll say it. She pushes the boundries now I am worried for when she's 12!
Douglas is back in preschool. He goes 3 days a week. The loves it. He told me he liked the little red headed girl, but that she moved. I asked him were and he told me a few spots over. So apparently they sat next to each other at circle time but they kept talking so they had to move her! It's a christian preschool and the other night he told me he was tired of hearing about Jesus!!! I sure hope he doesn't tell his teacher that! Everyday he amazes me with his questions and insites. His new things is telling me how much he loves me. He says I love you 10, 20, 3, 7, 8 millions. He also told me he like ariel's shells, from little mermaid. He then asks me if I know what's under the shells and I tell him yes. Well he proceeds to tell me that they are boobs and that I have them too!
Brian is busy with work and is now having to travel more often. He's gone the last week of october and then 2 days next week. To top it off the company cut everyones pay by 10% so not to have to lay off anymore people. It sucks since Brian's branch is making money. 10% is a lot money and at first Brian worried about our finances and wanted to sell cars, etc. But after redoing the budget he's okay with it. I know that in a few years when the economy has turned around he'll get what he deserves. It just sucks this happened before we are going to Disneyworld. So we aren't going to do any of the character food things to save money.
I am doing okay. We got new math material this year and it sucks. Other teachers picked it because it has worksheets and had all the bells and whistles, but it doesn't allow for any high level thinking. It's all about knowledge and not understanding. With means they know facts, but can't tell you anything about the why's. I feel like a first year teacher again figuring out this crap. My class is pretty good, they just love to talk! I am also sick. Ughh. Terrible sinus stuff.
We are waiting to TTC #3 in Jan after Disney world and thank goodness we are. My periods have been weird. I have been spotting until cycle day 10! This month I was so stressed I didn't 0 until day 20 or 21, which is about 5 days later than usual. It kinda has me worried that somethings off, but I am sure it's just work stress.
Edited to add a pic...computers being weird. I'll add more pics later ( pics )
So I lost 5 pounds this week, which I am excited about but at the same time frustrated because I only gained that in the last few weeks. It's my goal to lose 7-8 more in 5 weeks. I know I can do it but I have to really stick to it.
I came to a realization thanks to Jillian from the biggest loser that it's in my head. She says some stuff in her DVD Shred and it just clicked the last time I heard it. I HAVE the ability to not eat crap. I even went to a conference for 2 days this week where lunch and breakfast were provided. I didn't have any cookies, candy, or pastries! It felt awesome to be in control of myself.
Now if I can keep it up!
So my dad went in search of fans today and ended up buying a portable a/c unit for my sister, because they only had one. WTF? Why does she get one and I don't. I know that sounds bitchy but it kinda hurts my feelings. My mom said they would buy one for us, but who knows when they will find one and when they do I probable won't need one.
Thinking about it, I know why they gave it to my sister though. Because I am the better one, meaning she would be PISSED if they bought it for me and not her. There would be hell to pay. She never even said thanks to my parents either and never said she was sorry to me that she got it over me. Ughh!
As I am typing this I am sweating.
Anyways it was a 2 day trip without kids and the first time I left Maggie overnight. I scored a Coach purse for 60% off and i usually would never buy one, but it was such a good deal. I also found some super cute dresses at Dress barn of all places. I was running all over town last week trying to find a dress that made me look good :) but found nothing. We just happened to walk past the Dress barn at the outlet malls and way tons of cute dresses inside for cheap. I will have to go there again soon! I also got to eat at in-n-out. I never remember just how good the burgers are until I have it again! Got they are fabulous!!

Maggie is doing great. She's a daredevil, she loves climbing and jumping off things. I can't believe she's 14 months already.
My ex-boyfiend just called me and told me his fiance is pregnant so they are getting married in 3 weeks! He really wants me to come as we have still remained friends and he is close to my family. So I am going to Sacramento on saturday June 20th and coming home the 21st. My worry is that I look like a cow still!! Can I lose 10 pounds in 3 weeks? I know I could if I worked my ass off, but still. I worked out 40 minutes on tuesday, cleaning the house yesterday, walked/ran for 35 minutes today. Plus I cleaned some more. and I have gained 3 pounds. Lovely. I guess I need to eat better. I just want to look good. I don't want his "wife" to wonder why we would have dated someone like me!

The thing that suck is that we don't get a raise, but at least they are keeping class sizes the same. In other districts they are talking about 40 kids per class!
( Some super cute pics of the kids... )
I don't get how they are cutting education, but they have stimulus money to build a bridge connecting microsoft building for 40 million. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.
There are billions of dollars out there for stupid shit, but they are cutting teacher jobs and class sizes might go up to 40! Nice job government. Thanks!
Sorry for the vent, but I am pissed. Hopefully I am far enough up the seniority list and that some people leave or retire.
So my life is always in bullets

Maggie's Birth story
At around 2pm I started feeling contractions and they started coming every 5 minutes. I was having to breathe through them so we called my parents to come over after I had had them for about 45 minutes. I called the hospital at 3:30 and they told me to come in since they were coming less than 5 minutes apart and were somewhat painful. We arrived at the hospital at 4 and was admitted but had to wait 30 minutes in the ER for the maternity nurses to come and get me. I finally got into my room at 4:30, at around 5, the nurse checked me and I was 5-6cm dilated and wasn’t in too much pain. I walked, used the ball and at 8:30 I was checked again and was still at 5-6cm. The Dr. said that I might have to get pitocin to get the contractions to be stronger since they didn’t feel too painful to me. I opted for an epidural since the last time I had the pitocin it was horrible. So I was given an IV but OMG did it hurt. She tried in my right arm and it was more horrible than any contraction I felt! Then she put it in my hand and that was even worse. At that time they changed swifts and the new nurse moved my IV into the left arm and she did such a better job. I had to get 1 bag of fluid before I could get the epidural. I still wasn’t in much pain, maybe a 4 on the comfort level. I got the epidural at 10:30pm and the anesegiologist was great. The IV in my right arm was more painful than the epidural! However, when I got the epidural my blood pressure dropped super low, and I had to be closely monitored. The same thing happened with Douglas. So at 11 I was still a 5-6 cm so they decided to break my water. Within 10-15 minutes I told the nurse that I was feeling a lot of pressure and sure enough I was at a 9. I continued to feel tons of pressure, but my nurse was having “lunch” so I had to wait for her to get back! She arrived around 12:00 said I was complete and called the Dr. She had me try a practice push and then said to stop since it worked to well. We had to wait for about 15 minutes for the Dr. to arrive and then get prepared. I only had to pushed through 2 contractions (about 6 pushes) and she was born at 12:25 am On my mom's 60th b-day. Brian couldn’t see what she was yet, and kept asking what she was, after about 20 seconds I told him it was a girl. I had a feeling she was a girl, but when I actually saw that she was, my first thought was that she was going to be a 12 year old teenage girl someday and that worried me!!
